I was just discussing the topic of failure with a good friend and business partner from PA. She shared a great quote/concept with me that expands upon my previous entry.
"There is no such thing as failure because failure is an opportunity to learn."
I believe this is also called "failing forward."
Never give up and LIVE above the crawl.

Why people fail?
Hi and welcome to my blog which is geared toward you and your success. Confused by my title? Don't be. We will get to that. This first blog is a bit like a rough, uncut diamond but I felt compelled to get this rolling today, Columbus Day 2007. The day celebrating the discovery of America. The land of the free and the brave. Home to free enterprise and entrepreneurs! The main reason I am here is because gifts need to be shared. These words and thoughts were a gift to me and I want to share them. So here goes everything:
Why do people fail? Whether it is in athletics, business, school or sometimes life, people come up short. Three reasons come to mind-
(1) People reject correction. They allow their egos to get ahead of their ambitions.
(2) They allow their focus to be broken. People lose sight of the goal or target.
(3) They didn't put in enough time. We have all heard stories of people who gave up too soon.
I am thankful Christopher Columbus knew these three reasons.
